IRISH BREAD

This bread is easy and very tasty.

3 c sifted flour        4 teasp baking powder

1 teasp salt

1/3 c sugar

1 Tables caraway seeds

1 c raisins

1 c milk or a little more!

Mix all except the milk.  Then add milk.  When mixed it should be like marshed potato.

Flour a bread board and kneed lightly for 1 min.  It's very sticky.  Put in a greased pan, make a slice on top of bread.  Bake for 45 min in a 375 oven.

Hello and congratulations for getting Top Pick! I'm copying this recipe. I hope to make it on St. Patrick's Day along with my cornbeef and cabbage. Yum! :)

Wow! That *is* an easy bread recipe. Most bread recipes require yeast and tons of kneading, resting, rising, all that. This one sounds simple and delicious!! I'm printing it out for future reference!
